Shangri was born from courage, resilience, and a powerful desire to rebuild a life.

In November 2024, life took an unexpected turn when the founder of Shangri lost her job due to a medical challenge. As an independent mother and a postgraduate in Computer Applications, she was already balancing motherhood, responsibilities, and dreams. The sudden financial setback pushed her into one of the most difficult phases of her life — but it also sparked a new purpose.

Instead of giving up, she chose to rise.

With strength drawn from her children, family, and close friends, she decided to create something of her own — something meaningful, something beautiful. And that is how Shangri began.

From late 2024 onward, she slowly started planning every detail of her vision: a jewellery brand that represents elegance, confidence, and everyday luxury. With a very small budget and no big investor behind her, she designed and built the Shangri web app herself, using her technical skills and trust in her dream.

In July 2025, Shangri officially came to life.

What started as a single mother’s attempt to overcome hardship has now grown into a brand that inspires thousands. Every product, every collection, every design carries a piece of her journey — a reminder that dreams can rise even from the toughest moments.

Today, Shangri is expanding with the love and support of family, friends, well-wishers, and every Shangri member who joined this journey. The brand is built on passion, persistence, and the belief that every woman deserves to feel beautiful, strong, and celebrated.
